Your worth and identity are in Christ!

Dear Pastor,

I want to remind you that you are loved by God and called of God. Remember this day that it is not what you do nor the approval others give you that determines your worth. Your worth is determined by the Lord Himself and the fact that He created you, He chose you, He pursues you and calls you. Whenever we take time to read the epistles sent to various churches and pastors by the pillars of the church, the theme of being God’s chosen vessels is constantly repeated. Not only does God remind us through His Word that we are chosen of Him but also that He is the One is able to make us worthy of the calling we have received and He is the One who is able to preserve us blameless unto everlasting life. So this week, you may feel discouraged or judged, you may be stressed out because of a lack of something in your life, you may even be questioning why you are in ministry, but please be reminded that you are His, your identity is Christ, your future is secure in Him and so long as you listen to His voice you will overcome all things in the name and the power of Jesus!

Colossians 1:27 God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.’
